# European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Little Changed in Tuesday Trading

11:03 AM EST, 02/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were little changed late Tuesday morning, edging 0.01% higher to 1,839.63 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by internet advertising firm Criteo ( CRTO ) and biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) , which rose 2.6% and 2.1%, respectively. They were followed by biotech firm Evaxion ( EVAX ) and pharmaceutical company Sanofi ( SNY ) , which were up 1.9% and 1.1%, respectively.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by telecommunications operator Telefonica ( TEFOF ) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which dropped 3.8% and 2.4%, respectively. They were followed by lender Banco Santander (SAN) and telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) , which lost 1.9% and 1.7%, respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) , which advanced 7.8% and 6.1%, respectively. They were followed by biotech firm Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) and biopharmaceutical company NuCana ( NCNA ) , which increased 5.5% and 5.1%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) and lender Lloyds Banking Group ( LYG ) , which fell 2.9% and 1.3%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma Group ( MREO ) and tobacco company British American Tobacco ( BTI ) , which were down 1.1% and 0.9%.
