# Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Dte Energy Company

03:15 PM EST, 02/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target by $8 to $162, valuing shares of DTE at 20.7x our 2026 EPS estimate, a premium to its five-year average forward P/E of 18.4x. We raise our 2026 EPS view by $0.09 to $7.81 and initiate our 2027 EPS forecast at $8.39. DTE Energy ( DTE ) delivered 2025 operating EPS of $7.36, beating guidance of $7.09-$7.23 and marking 7.8% growth. The company's 1.4 GW data center agreement with Oracle received MPSC approval in December 2025, with construction now underway. The load will ramp over two to three years under a 15-year contract with Oracle funding storage. Management expects a second data center deal in coming weeks, part of ~3 GW in advanced hyperscaler discussions that should push operating EPS CAGR above 8% for 2027-2030. The regulatory environment remains constructive after the February 2026 electric rate case, where MPSC authorized $242M (42% of DTE's $574M request) and maintained the 9.9% ROE, below DTE's 10.75% ask but aligned with our expectations given recent Michigan regulatory trends.
