According to the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, in mid-February, the social inventory of five major varieties of steel in 21 cities reached 9.53 million tons, an increase of 1.72 million tons month-on-month, up 22%; an increase of 2.32 million tons compared to the beginning of the year, up 32.2%; but a year-on-year decrease of 1.2 million tons, down 11.2%
