# The Shangai Composite Index Closes 0.72% Higher

> The Shangai Composite Index went up by 30 points or 0.72 percent on Wednesday to close at 4147 points.The rise was led by Inner Mongolia BaoTou Steel (10.15%), Anhui Conch Cement (5.74%) and Aluminum Corporation of China (4.40%).On the downside, the weakerst performers were China International (-3.83%), China Coal (-1.80%) and Huatai Securities (-1.68%).

The Shangai Composite Index went up by 30 points or 0.72 percent on Wednesday to close at 4147 points.

The rise was led by Inner Mongolia BaoTou Steel (10.15%), Anhui Conch Cement (5.74%) and Aluminum Corporation of China (4.40%).

On the downside, the weakerst performers were China International (-3.83%), China Coal (-1.80%) and Huatai Securities (-1.68%).
