The land auction drama in Guangzhou officially kicked off on February 25, with the bidding phase for the Zhujiang New Town racetrack plot. This plot attracted participation from eight real estate companies, including YUEXIU PROPERTY, POLY PROPERTY, China Merchants Shekou, China Resources Land, Zhujiang Investment, Guangzhou Urban Investment, Guangzhou Construction, and Guangzhou Metro, among which five are local state-owned enterprises and the other three are central enterprises. As of the time of publication, the bidding for the racetrack plot has exceeded 130 rounds, with a total price reaching 21.324 billion yuan, indicating that the racetrack plot is likely to set a new record for the highest total price in Guangzhou.
