# Apple will adopt the Dynamic Island design in its first touchscreen MacBook Pro

According to informed sources, Apple will introduce significant interface changes to its Mac products with the long-awaited touchscreen laptop, including the adoption of the Dynamic Island design derived from the iPhone.

The sources stated that Apple's first touchscreen Mac model is planned to debut this fall, featuring the Dynamic Island at the center top of the display. The sources, who wished to remain anonymous due to the confidential nature of the plans, did not disclose further details.

A spokesperson for Apple in Cupertino, California, declined to comment on the company's plans.

The launch of the touchscreen laptop marks a significant strategic shift for Apple. For years, Apple has publicly questioned the necessity of touchscreen laptops. This redesign plan was reported to be in the works as early as 2023
