# HSBC Holdings plc Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended December 31, 2025

> HSBC Holdings plc reported its earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025. The company achieved a net income of USD 4,944 million for Q4, a significant increase from USD 351 million the previous year. For the full year, net income was USD 22,285 million, down from USD 23,979 million in the prior year. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations were USD 1.21, slightly lower than USD 1.25 a year ago, while diluted earnings per share were USD 1.20 compared to USD 1.24.

HSBC Holdings plc reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net income was USD 4,944 million compared to USD 351 million a year ago.  
For the full year, net income was USD 22,285 million compared to USD 23,979 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.21 compared to USD 1.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.2 compared to USD 1.24 a year ago.
