# Multiple steel companies achieve a "good start" in production

Recently, multiple steel companies have disclosed that they achieved a "good start" in production in the first month of 2026. For example, Fangda S.Steel completed 105.01%, 110.63%, and 110.71% of its production plans for pig iron, crude steel, and steel products respectively in January, with several core indicators reaching new highs; Yangchun New Steel's production and sales rate for the entire month of January reached 101%, and its sales channels also achieved new breakthroughs. Meanwhile, listed companies in the steel sector have successively released their "report cards" for the year 2025. Nearly 30 listed steel companies have issued performance forecasts, with more than half reporting positive net profits attributable to shareholders, including Valin Steel, Shougang, and LIU STEEL CO, all of which are expected to have net profits attributable to shareholders exceeding 500 million yuan for the year 2025.
