The company hopes that by extending maternity leave, it can provide employees with more time to care for newborns and families, while also introducing various parenting support measures, including up to 6 days of paid parental leave per year and a daily exemption of 1 hour from work within 90 days after the birth of a newborn Sands China (01928.HK) announced that starting next month, female employees who have served for one year will have their paid maternity leave extended from 70 days to 90 days; male employees' paternity leave will increase from 5 days to 7 days. The company stated that it currently has over 28,000 employees and hopes that by extending maternity leave, employees will have more time to care for newborns and accompany their families, while also allowing new mothers sufficient rest to better adapt to changes in family life.
