# China Aviation's net profit in the second half of last year increased by 68.3% year-on-year to 76.46 million yuan | Lianhe Zaobao

China Aviation Oil's performance in Singapore is strong, with net profit in the second half of 2025 increasing by 68.3% year-on-year to USD 60.5 million (approximately SGD 76.47 million), while revenue slightly decreased by 1.30% year-on-year to USD 7.87903 billion.

The board of directors has proposed a year-end dividend of SGD 0.0496 per share, an increase of 33.3% compared to the same period last fiscal year.

The company released its performance for the second half and the full year ending in 2025 on Thursday (February 26).

Thanks to the increase in gross profit and growth in investment income from joint ventures, the company's net profit for the full year 2025 rose by 41.1% to USD 110.53 million, setting a new historical high. The earnings per share for the year correspondingly increased to USD 0.1285.

The company pointed out that despite the overall decline in oil prices in 2025, its business volume still increased, with annual revenue growing by 5.94% year-on-year to USD 16.43956 billion.

The company's gross profit for the year surged by 73.9% to USD 72.82 million, mainly benefiting from improved trading activity profitability. Meanwhile, investment income from joint ventures skyrocketed by 31.2% to USD 60.22 million.

The company's financial condition is robust, with no interest-bearing debt. As of December 31, 2025, the net asset value per share increased from USD 1.15 at the end of 2024 to USD 1.25.

The company's CEO Lin Yi stated that despite ongoing challenges from geopolitical turmoil and trade frictions in 2025, the company achieved record net profit thanks to its flexible strategies and the robust recovery of the global aviation industry, particularly the strong rebound in the Chinese market Looking ahead to 2026, he said: "We continue to maintain a cautiously optimistic attitude. The Civil Aviation Administration of China predicts that total passenger throughput will reach 810 million in 2026, which provides a favorable market foundation for the company. The company will fully seize the favorable opportunity of the recovery in major market demand, actively expand new opportunities in low-carbon business, promote sustainable business development, and create greater value for shareholders."
