Following its tenth anniversary, the brand aims for significant growth with plans for new electric SUVs and performance vehicles. Despite its global success, Genesis has struggled to establish a foothold in China since its 2021 launch, making this minivan a potential breakthrough vehicle. Genesis is jumping into the premium multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) market with plans to launch its first ultra-luxury minivan. ## Genesis develops first ultra-luxury minivan for China After celebrating its tenth anniversary last year, Genesis said the next 10 years will be even bigger with new full-size electric SUVs, performance vehicles, off-roaders, and more on the way. According to recent local media reports, those plans include a new “ultra-luxury” minivan. Korea’s *Maeil Business Newspaper* reported that Genesis is preparing to introduce its first premium minivan in China as it looks for its next “breakthrough” vehicle. Since entering China in 2021, Genesis has failed to gain the traction that it has in the US and other global markets. ### Related Stocks - [09863.HK - LEAPMOTOR](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/09863.HK.md) - [01728.HK - ZHENGTONGAUTO](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/01728.HK.md) - [02015.HK - LI AUTO-W](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/02015.HK.md) ## Related News & Research | Title | Description | URL | |-------|-------------|-----| | Leapmotor Feb deliveries hit by holiday, eyes A10 SUV launch | Leapmotor delivered 28,067 vehicles in February, a 10.99% year-on-year increase but a 12.45% month-on-month decline due | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/277336081.md) | | Genesis plans bespoke vehicle platform as early as 2027 | Genesis, Hyundai's premium brand, is developing a bespoke vehicle platform for its future electric and hybrid models, se | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275429273.md) | | Genesis Energy Raises Capital via Share Placement, Crown Stake Set at 51% | Genesis Energy Limited has raised capital through the issuance of 46,511,627 new ordinary shares at NZ$2.15 each, increa | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/277105498.md) | | Genesis Scale expects FY net loss of HK$130-150 million | Genesis Scale expects FY net loss of HK$130-150 million | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/276050461.md) | | Leapmotor secures $530 million investment from China's state-owned automaker FAW | Leapmotor has secured a $530 million investment from China's state-owned automaker FAW, acquiring a 5% stake.
