# Belgian regulators launch investigation into Google's online advertising pricing practices

Belgium's competition regulator announced on Friday that it has launched an investigation into Google's online advertising sales business.

-   The competition regulator stated that there is already **conclusive evidence** indicating that Google's online advertising sales model **violates antitrust laws**, and the company is suspected of **abusing its market dominance**.
-   The regulator mentioned that the investigation is currently in the **preliminary stage**, and the results are still unclear.
-   Google is already the subject of multiple antitrust investigations by the EU and has been fined **billions of euros** in recent years for violating antitrust laws in Europe.
