description: "In March 2026, streaming platforms offer a mix of content. Peacock features \"Ted\" Season 2, the musical \"Wicked: For Good,\" and live sports, but lacks standout new shows. Disney+ brings back \"Daredevil: Born Again\" and celebrates \"Hannah Montana\"'s 20th anniversary, though both platforms struggle to attract viewers with limited appealing options. Overall, the streaming landscape appears underwhelming this month."

# Here's what's worth streaming in March 2026 on -3-

Play, pause or stop? Stop. For now. But "The Madison" and "America's Culinary Cup" have potential, and if you're a cord-cutting sports fan, March Madness will be tempting.

Peacock ($10.99 a month with ads, or $16.99 with no ads)

What a difference a month makes. The Winter Olympics proved to be another sensation with streaming viewers, but now that they're over, Peacock has lost much of its luster.

It does have Seth MacFarlane's foul-mouthed teddy-bear comedy "Ted" (March 5) returning for its second season. Season 1 was Peacock's most-watched show ever, which is frightening. If Hulu's "Shoresy" is the poster child for successfully balancing raunch and heart, "Ted" is on the opposite end - crass and lazy. But que sera, sera.

Comcast's (CMCSA) Peacock is making a big splash with the streaming premiere of the box-office hit musical "Wicked: For Good" (March 20), along with singalong and director's-commentary versions, and the documentary "It's Dorothy!" (March 13), examining the cultural impact of the iconic "Wizard of Oz" character.

There's also the usual slate of NBC and cable shows, including new episodes of "Chicago Fire," "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins," "Real Housewives," "Happy's Place," "Saturday Night Live," "The Voice" and a new season of Bravo's venerable "Top Chef" (March 3), set in the Carolinas.

Peacock's also got a ton of live sports, including Premier League soccer, the NBA, college basketball, the PGA, Six Nations Rugby, U.S. national-team soccer and winter sports.

Play, pause or stop? Stop. "Top Chef" is a perennial favorite and "Reggie Dinkins" is funny, but there's not a lot else.

Disney+ ($11.99 a month with ads, $18.99 with no ads)

Blind superhero Matt Murdoch (Charlie Cox) returns in Season 2 of "Daredevil: Born Again" (March 24), pitting the street vigilante against his arch-enemy - and now mayor of New York City - Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio). His super ally Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is also back, along with his ex-girlfriend Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) with a new villain (Matthew Lillard) waiting in the wings. Originally a Netflix production, this version of Daredevil remains grittier and more violent than most in the Marvel universe.

How to know that millennials are officially old enough to feel nostalgia? Look no further than the "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special" (March 24), featuring retrospectives of the Disney Channel sitcom and a live interview with star Miley Cyrus. Disney's (DIS) also got all seven seasons of "Malcolm in the Middle," ahead of April's Hulu revival, along with select ABC, NatGeo, Hulu and ESPN programming including "American Idol," the nature docuseries "Ghost Elephants" (March 8) and Savannah Bananas baseball (March 14 and 28).

Play, pause or stop? Stop. "Daredevil: Born Again" has its moments but is largely uneven, and there's not a lot else to draw viewers. Your kids, of course, may think differently.
