# Lu Weibing: Xiaomi's artificial intelligence achievements will be showcased, and an additional investment of 24 billion euros is planned in core technology areas

Xiaomi President Lu Weibing announced that the company will showcase its artificial intelligence achievements in the future and will enter into new collaborations with Leica. In addition, Xiaomi has partnered with Gran Turismo, allowing users to drive the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in the game. Xiaomi will showcase its "people, vehicles, and home ecosystem" and AI technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The group plans to invest an additional €24 billion in core technology fields between 2026 and 2030

Xiaomi (01810.HK) recently held the global launch event for the Xiaomi 17 Series in Barcelona, Spain. Xiaomi partner, president, and head of the mobile phone department, Lu Weibing, stated that as Xiaomi's first global event in 2026, it will bring three "surprises," including a new chapter in collaboration with Leica; in the field of new energy vehicles, Xiaomi has partnered with Gran Turismo, and now everyone can drive the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in the game; in two days, Xiaomi will also appear at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), where everyone will witness the real implementation of the "full ecosystem of people, vehicles, and homes" along with Xiaomi's artificial intelligence.

In addition, Lu Weibing mentioned that Xiaomi's global AIoT connected devices have now surpassed 1 billion units. The group will invest an additional €24 billion in core technology fields from 2026 to 2030
