# High-end consumption rebounds first, LINK REIT: Accelerate the improvement of asset quality and renovation of shopping malls

> The Asset Management Director of LINK REIT, Luo Xinqi, stated that the Chinese dining and gold shop businesses at Wong Tai Sin Center performed well, with foot traffic in the mall increasing by over 10% year-on-year. The group is intensifying efforts to enhance asset quality and renovate the mall, adding installations and dining elements that reflect local culture to attract consumers. In response to the impact of e-commerce, the group has strengthened the dining elements of the mall and introduced appealing mainland brands and offline experience projects

LINK REIT (00823.HK) Hong Kong Asset Management Director Luo Xinqi stated in an interview with Ming Pao that, according to merchants in the Wong Tai Sin Center, the performance of Chinese restaurants and gold shops has been quite good, with foot traffic in the mall increasing by more than 10% year-on-year during the first few days of the holiday period until the sixth day of the Lunar New Year. She pointed out that the consumption wave from the north has stabilized, and the group is intensifying efforts to improve asset quality and renovate malls, introducing installations and elements with local cultural significance, and even increasing dining elements and developing themed markets to attract consumers.

Regarding the impact of e-commerce, she mentioned that home goods tenants are more affected, and the group has responded by enhancing the food and beverage elements in the malls and introducing attractive mainland brands, even bringing in offline experiences such as fitness centers for leasing
