According to PropNex's fiscal year 2025 performance release last Friday (February 27), the private residential portion located on Raffles Avenue is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. PropNex Executive Chairman Ismail Gafoor also stated that the developers hope to launch the private residential portion of Marina Square within this year. Previously, UOL Group President Niam Wee Seong pointed out at the group's performance release last Thursday (26) that the group submitted a proposal to the relevant authorities for the transformation of Marina Square in the second half of last year. It will be transformed into Singapore's first hyper-mixed development project, which includes the construction of three buildings: private residences, serviced apartments, and a mixed-use building. Singapore Land announced the Marina Square transformation plan last December, transforming this 92,197 square meter site into a large project encompassing housing, hotels, retail, office, and cultural spaces. Marina Square is a mixed-use development project with a 99-year leasehold, currently with approximately 53 years remaining on the lease.
