# According to reports, Tianxing Bank received an additional capital injection of 500 million yuan in September last year, with Futu replacing Xiaomi as the controlling shareholder

According to a report by the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Futu increased its investment in digital bank Tianxing Bank by HKD 500 million last September to subscribe for new shares issued by Tianxing's parent company, Gravity Financial Technology, and indirectly increased its equity stake in Tianxing Bank to 68.43% (up from the original 44.11%), replacing founding shareholder Xiaomi-W (01810.HK) as the controlling shareholder of Tianxing Bank.

Xiaomi, which originally held 50.3% of Tianxing Bank, saw its equity diluted to 28.41% after Futu's capital increase, becoming the second-largest shareholder of Tianxing. When Tianxing Bank was established, Xiaomi held a 90% stake in it
