The NYSE ARCA Gold Miners Index, trading throughout the global market, rose 0.25%, closing at 3307.75 points, barely setting a new closing historical high.  
The Materials Index rose 0.64% during the U.S. stock trading session, while the Metals and Mining Index rose 1.56%
