# The century-old Panasonic Group has handed over its television business to China

After a century, Panasonic hands over its television business to China. Skyworth officially announced its cooperation with Panasonic, taking full responsibility for the production, sales, and channel expansion of Panasonic brand televisions globally. Starting in 2026, Panasonic will transfer its television sales business in North America and Europe to Skyworth, focusing solely on the Japanese domestic market and high-end models in the future
