# Solana launches its AI-powered Agent Registry trust layer.

Solana announced on its X platform that it has launched its AI agent trust layer, Agent Registry. Agent Registry natively integrates identity, reputation, and verification registry into the Solana network, providing each agent with a verified identity profile, including agent identity, functionality, and owner information; recording the agent's operational history; and supporting independent verification of agent performance by third parties. Agent Registry is a Solana implementation of the ERC-8004 protocol, developed by Quantu AI, and designed to provide agent discovery and trust mechanisms.
