# The medium and long-term deposit interest rates of several private banks have dropped to "1 digit"

Recently, several private banks have intensively lowered their medium- and long-term deposit rates, with the rates for 2-year, 3-year, and 5-year fixed deposit products generally falling below 2%, officially entering the "1-digit" era.
