# Baidu's "Carrot Run" self-driving internationalization center established in Hainan

The Hainan Provincial People's Government and Baidu-SW (09888.HK) recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Haikou, witnessed by Governor Liu Xiaoming and Baidu founder Li Yanhong. The core of this cooperation focuses on leveraging the advantages of Hainan's free trade port policy to explore a mechanism for the orderly cross-border flow of data related to intelligent connected vehicles and the construction of an industrial ecosystem.

According to the agreement, Baidu will officially launch the construction of the "Luo Bo Kuai Pao" autonomous driving international regional center, creating a comprehensive operational hub that integrates intelligent connectivity and data innovation. Both parties will focus on exploring cross-border data business and promoting the scaling up of testing demonstrations for intelligent connected vehicles.

In the field of digital economy, both parties will accelerate the construction of intelligent computing power infrastructure, utilizing AI large model technology to empower industrial upgrading and build a new system for Hainan's digital economy
