This personnel change not only means that the executive team of the state-owned bank adds another "post-75" talent but also allows Bank of China to soon adopt a management structure of "one president and five vice presidents." Born in 1977, Huang Xueling is currently 49 years old and holds a master's degree in economics from Peking University. It is not difficult to see from her resume that Huang Xueling is a seasoned "Huijin veteran," with long-term in-depth experience within the Central Huijin Investment Co., Ltd. system. Before officially joining Bank of China in 2026, her career trajectory was almost closely linked to the investment and equity management business of Central Huijin: From 2020 to 2025, Huang Xueling served as the Director of the Capital Operations Department of Central Huijin and concurrently held the positions of Chairman and General Manager of Central Huijin Asset Management Co., Ltd., a core position that required her to have a strong grasp of macro capital markets and the operation of large-scale assets; Subsequently, from July 2025 to February 2026, she transferred to serve as the Director of the Second Equity Management Department of Central Huijin. As an institution representing the state in exercising investor rights and fulfilling investor obligations towards key financial enterprises, Central Huijin plays a key role in corporate governance as an important shareholder of state-owned banks; Huang Xueling has long been responsible for equity management and capital operations within the Huijin system, which may provide her with a top-down profound understanding of the operational logic, risk management, and capital constraints of large commercial banks.
