# Lei Jun suggests: Deploy factories for general humanoid robots, providing industry subsidies and preferential policies such as priority access

National People's Congress representative, Xiaomi Group founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun submitted five proposals to the conference focusing on the two main themes of "Artificial Intelligence +" and "New Quality Productive Forces." Among them, he mentioned accelerating breakthroughs in the challenges of engineering implementation to form conditions for large-scale production; expanding the application scenarios of intelligent manufacturing, increasing the usage rate of humanoid robots, and providing industrial subsidies and preferential access policies for manufacturing plants deploying general-purpose humanoid robots, especially those with comprehensive automation rates and usage rates reaching first-class levels domestically and internationally; strengthening the construction of safety standard systems to promote the application of humanoid robots.
