In the buying operations, ARK purchased 138,270 shares of Alibaba (BABA) stock, valued at approximately $18.75 million. Due to geopolitical tensions leading to market weakness, the stock fell nearly 5% on that day. The company also increased its holdings in Amazon (AMZN) by 62,579 shares, amounting to about $13 million, following reports that some of its data center operations were affected by regional turmoil. ARK increased its exposure to electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft manufacturers, buying 947,943 shares of Archer Aviation (ACHR) stock, valued at approximately $6.37 million, and 539,131 shares of Joby Aviation (JOBY) stock, valued at about $5.26 million. Archer recently reported a fourth-quarter loss per share of $0.26 and is still in the stage of not generating revenue. The fund also purchased 122,951 shares of BioNTech (BNTX) stock, amounting to approximately $12.39 million.
