# Sector Update: Tech Stocks Advance Pre-Bell Wednesday

09:09 AM EST, 03/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were advancing pre-bell Wednesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.8% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 1.5% higher.

Applied Digital ( APLD ) shares were up more than 5% after the company said its ComputeCo 2 unit priced a $2.15 billion private placement of senior secured notes maturing in 2031.

ACI Worldwide ( ACIW ) stock was nearly 1% higher after the company said it has introduced ACI Connetic for Cards, a card payments suite, within its ACI Connetic payments hub.

Daktronics ( DAKT ) shares were down more than 6% after the company reported fiscal Q3 earnings that missed analysts' consensus.
