# The Australian dollar plummeted 1.24%, briefly dropping nearly 100 points

At the end of trading in New York, the euro fell 0.55% against the US dollar, the British pound fell 0.34% against the US dollar, and the US dollar rose 0.52% against the Swiss franc.

Among commodity currencies, the Australian dollar fell 1.24% against the US dollar, the New Zealand dollar fell 0.64% against the US dollar, and the US dollar rose 0.35% against the Canadian dollar
