# USD 125 million investment in NFL, Xiaomi co-founder expands sports investment landscape again

According to Sportico, Lin Bin, co-founder and vice chairman of Xiaomi Corporation, intends to acquire 1% of the equity in the Miami Dolphins Holdings, part of the National Football League (NFL). This transaction values the target company at $12.5 billion, setting a new high for NFL equity transfers, surpassing the previous benchmark of $10 billion when Julia Koch purchased a 10% stake in the New York Giants. Based on this calculation, Lin Bin's investment amounts to approximately $125 million. (Jiemian)
