# The People's Bank of China has increased its gold holdings for the 16th consecutive month

People's Bank of China: As of the end of February, China's gold reserves reported 74.22 million ounces, up from 74.19 million ounces at the end of January, marking the 16th consecutive month of increasing gold holdings.
