# Wang Zhigang: During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, a large number of outstanding achievements in technological innovation have emerged in China

This afternoon, the second "Committee Channel" of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held at the Great Hall of the People. Wang Zhigang, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and former Minister of Science and Technology, accepted an interview with reporters. Wang Zhigang introduced that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China has seen a large number of outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation. For example: China's high-speed rail has achieved a speed of 450 kilometers per hour during the "14th Five-Year Plan," providing more convenience and speed for travel. In the field of artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence and multimodal AI assistants have shown many highlights.
