# News: Debt-laden AGILE GROUP sells subsidiary to reduce debt

Mainland real estate developer Agile Group Holdings Limited (3383.HK) **announced on Thursday** that its subsidiary, New Tao Environmental, has reached a letter of intent with Yifenghua Chuang to acquire land, factories, equipment, pipelines, and construction projects as operational fixed assets for cash.

Agile stated that the sale will help the group optimize its short- and long-term asset allocation, fully leverage asset efficiency, and enhance the group's cash flow, which is beneficial for mitigating debt risks.

On Friday, Agile opened flat at HKD 0.275, having fallen 60% from its high over the past year.
