It is reported that POP MART is in direct communication with the founder of Piotech to explore the possibility of reconciliation or cooperation

Regarding the infringement lawsuit between POP MART (09992.HK) and Piotech, domestic media reported that POP MART founder Wang Ning and Piotech founder Tao Ye have recently begun direct communication to explore the possibility of reconciliation and future cooperation. It is understood that the legal and other business departments are also waiting for the results of the communication between the two management teams.

Piotech suddenly received legal documents delivered by the court at the end of February, learning that the company was formally sued by POP MART on the grounds of design or IP image infringement.

However, Piotech stated that it had never received any form of communication or warning from POP MART prior to this, and felt surprised by the lawsuit. Nevertheless, other sources indicated that POP MART's legal team had communicated with Piotech regarding platform infringement issues in two letters sent in May and October 2025, prior to the formal lawsuit
