# BUZZ-Firms edge higher on S&P 500 inclusion boost

Shares of some companies rise premarket as they are set to be added to the S&P 500 (.SPX)

Telecommunications services firm EchoStar (SATS.O) rises 1.4%, while data center equipment maker Vertiv Holdings (VRT.N) gains 3.4%

Photonics product makers: Lumentum Holdings (LITE.O) up 2.2%, Coherent (COHR.N) lower marginally after rising as much as 3.2% early in premarket

All of them are set to join the S&P 500 before the market opens on March 23

Up to last close SATS down 2.3% YTD, VRT up nearly 50%, LITE up 51.5% and COHR up 27.7%
