The company noted that this high payout ratio does not guarantee fixed-proportion dividends in future years, citing uncertainties in future capital expenditures. To meet production and business development needs, CATL plans to register and issue up to 40 billion yuan in bonds to optimize its debt structure and lower financing costs. The battery giant sold a total of 661 GWh of lithium-ion batteries in 2025, representing a 39.16% year-on-year increase. Sales of its power and energy storage batteries reached 541 GWh and 121 GWh respectively, helping it maintain the top spot in global market share.
