# The first batch of savings bonds (certificate type) will be issued starting from the 10th of 2026

The first and second phases of the 2026 savings treasury bonds (certificate type) will begin issuing on the 10th at six major banks: Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, and Postal Savings Bank of China, as well as some other banks like Zhejiang Commercial Bank and Shanghai Bank. This issuance is for certificate treasury bonds, which can only be purchased at bank branches. The treasury bonds are available in two terms: three years and five years, with an annual interest rate of 1.63% for the three-year term and 1.70% for the five-year term. (CCTV)
