# "Stock Movement" Shenhua down 3%, affected by high international oil prices, coal stocks fall against the market trend

According to the Economic News Agency on the 10th, coal stocks that recently benefited from rising oil and gas prices have been affected by the retreat in oil prices, resulting in a decline today. China Shenhua (01088) fell 2.9% to HKD 45.26; China Coal Energy (01898) fell 4.5% to HKD 13.21; YANKUANG ENERGY (01171) fell 2.5% to HKD 14.59; YANCOAL AUS (03668) fell 4.8% to HKD 37.5.

U.S. President Trump indicated that the war in Iran may soon come to an end, which dragged international oil prices down. In after-hours electronic trading on the New York oil market, prices once dropped by 10.7%, reaching a low of USD 81.19 per barrel. Oil prices continued to decline this morning in the Asian session, with New York crude oil currently priced at USD 85.87 per barrel, down 9.39%; London Brent crude oil is priced at USD 89.76 per barrel, up 0.85%.

Currently, the Hang Seng Index is at 25,762, up 353 points or 1.4%, with the main board turnover exceeding HKD 28.9 billion. The National Enterprises Index is at 8,666, up 85 points or 1%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 5,020, up 78 points or 1.6%. (vs)
