# Jiangsu: Strengthen the integration and adaptation of core hardware and software systems such as brain-machine interface sensors, chips, and batteries

The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and nine other departments issued the "Action Plan for the Innovative Development of the Brain-Computer Interface Industry in Jiangsu Province," which mentions strengthening the integration and adaptation of core hardware and software systems such as brain-computer interface sensors, chips, and batteries, and promoting the development of brain-computer interface products towards intelligence, lightweight, high-speed, and low-power consumption. In the field of industrial manufacturing, it aims to develop wearable brain state monitoring devices, brain-controlled equipment and robots, and safety warning systems; in the field of medical rehabilitation, it focuses on developing implantable neuroregulation devices, minimally invasive brain-computer systems for brain disease diagnosis and treatment, as well as specialized rehabilitation training equipment for conditions such as stroke and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; in the consumer sector, it seeks to develop consumer-grade products such as sleep monitoring interventions, attention training, and brain-controlled smart home devices. A regular selection of a batch of technologically advanced, effective, and replicable typical cases will be conducted, with the best cases recommended for national typical case evaluation. By 2030, no less than 30 brain-computer interface "three firsts and two new" products will be recognized
