# SIA Engineering successfully acquired a 30% stake in Fujian Yuanchang Aircraft Engineering | Lianhe Zaobao

SIA Engineering announced on Tuesday (March 10) after the market closed that it has successfully acquired a 30% stake in Airport Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (Fujian) after capital expansion, with a total subscription price of RMB 129 million (approximately SGD 23.72 million).

On November 12, 2024, SIA Engineering announced that it had signed a framework agreement with the parent company of Airport Aircraft Maintenance, Iport Group, to explore investment in Airport Aircraft Maintenance.

Subsequently, SIA Engineering participated in a public tender managed by the Xiamen Equity Exchange Centre through its wholly-owned subsidiary SIAEC Global Private Limited and successfully won the bid.

SIA Engineering will reach an agreement with Iport Group to establish a joint venture after completing this transaction, responsible for line maintenance and ground service at airports in Xiamen, Fuzhou, Wuyishan, and Longyan, as well as base maintenance services at Xiamen Airport.

The announcement stated that this transaction is expected to have no significant impact on SIA Engineering's net asset per share or earnings per share for the fiscal year ending March 2026. SIA Engineering's stock price closed at SGD 3.20 on Tuesday, up 1.27%
