# The space photovoltaic concept is heating up, and the photovoltaic ETF E Fund rose by 2.03%

As of 10:01 AM on March 11, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.09%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.44%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 1.16%. The F5G concept, batteries, and photovoltaic equipment sectors led the gains.

In terms of ETFs, **E Fund CSI Photovoltaic Industry ETF (562970)** rose by 2.03%, with constituent stock **SOFARSOLAR (301658.SZ)** rising over 10%, and **Sungrow Power Supply (300274.SZ)**, **Dier Laser (300776.SZ)**, **JinkoSolar (601778.SH)**, **DeYee (605117.SH)**, **Hema (688032.SH)** rising over 5%, along with **Ginlong Technologies (300763.SZ)**, **GoodWe (688390.SH)**, **Tongwei (600438.SH)**, **JinKai New Energy (600821.SH)**, among others.

In news, the recent space photovoltaic concept has been continuously hot, becoming the focus of capital attention. According to a report by Shanghai Securities News on February 27, GF Securities stated that AI giants are competing fiercely, and "computing power in space" has become a consensus. Driven by this, space photovoltaic as a major energy supply form is expected to benefit significantly, with an estimated cumulative market space of hundreds of billions for photovoltaic equipment in the future. This new narrative logic has opened up new incremental space expectations for the photovoltaic industry, attracting market capital attention.

Guotou Securities stated that satellite energy systems typically account for 10%-15% of the cost of low Earth orbit satellites, with solar wings being the core component, mainly composed of substrates, solar cells, and deployment mechanisms. Flexible solar wings can reduce weight by 20%-40% using materials such as polyimide (PI) films, and can shrink storage volume by over 60%, supporting the deployment of new mechanisms such as rollable and foldable designs. Currently, gallium arsenide batteries have become mainstream due to their high efficiency (30%-35%) and high radiation resistance, but they are expensive. The evolution direction of solar wing battery technology is shifting from gallium arsenide to crystalline silicon (such as HJT heterojunction) and perovskite. As an emerging technology, perovskite batteries, with an ultra-high energy-to-weight ratio of 10-30W/g, strong radiation resistance, and a theoretical cost only 1/3 of crystalline silicon, are in a critical phase of on-orbit verification and are expected to become the development direction of space photovoltaic batteries. The year 2025 will mark the beginning of the industrialization of perovskite, with GW-level production lines accelerating its application in space computing centers and high-power satellites, reshaping the competitive landscape of the photovoltaic industry.

**E Fund CSI Photovoltaic Industry ETF (562970) tracks the CSI Photovoltaic Industry Index, focusing on leading companies across the entire photovoltaic industry chain, with high industry purity and deeply benefiting from global energy storage construction.**
