
March 11th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index rose 1.74% in half a day, with the lithium battery and photovoltaic sectors collectively strengthening
The Shanghai Composite Index fluctuated narrowly in the morning, while the ChiNext Index rose over 2%. The lithium battery sector strengthened, with ZHONGYI and WILLING CORP. hitting the daily limit, and CATL soaring over 6%. The photovoltaic sector surged, with Grand Sunergy Tech, Chint Power, and Deye also hitting the daily limit. CPO and other computing hardware stocks continued to be active, with Ruiskanda and Yangtze Optical Fiber both achieving two consecutive limit-ups. On the downside, the military industry sector declined, with Aerospace Science and Technology and Aero Engine Corporation of China dropping over 5%. More stocks fell than rose, with over 3,200 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing red, and the morning trading volume reached 1.68 trillion yuan. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.05%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.85%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.74%
