# Impacting six consecutive gains! The electric power ETF Invesco (159158) rose nearly 2%, and token overseas expansion may drive a surge in electricity demand

On March 11, the green electricity concept strengthened again, with the **Invesco Electric Utilities ETF (159158)** rising 1.73% as of the time of publication, aiming for a six-day winning streak. Among the constituent stocks, four stocks including China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group and Ganeng Co., Ltd. hit the daily limit, while JinkoSolar and solar energy rose over 6%.

In terms of news, recently, OpenClaw has sparked a "lobster farming" craze. According to The Paper, when breaking down the cost of the Token, the two core components are computing power and electricity. Computing power refers to the depreciation of GPUs, while electricity is the operational cost of data centers. When a U.S. user calls the API of a Chinese large model, the data departs from California, travels through the Pacific submarine cable to reach the GPU in the data center in China, consuming electricity to complete the inference, and the result is sent back. Throughout the process, electricity never leaves China's power grid, but the value of electricity is delivered across borders through Tokens.

**China Merchants Securities** believes that the overseas expansion of tokens drives the scale expansion of computing power, thereby leading to a surge in electricity demand. It is estimated that by 2030, the electricity consumption of data centers is expected to account for about 4% of the total electricity consumption in China.

The **Invesco Electric Utilities ETF (159158)** tracks the CSI All Share Electric Utilities Index, covering sub-sectors such as thermal power, hydropower, wind power, and nuclear power. The top ten weighted stocks include China Yangtze Power, China National Nuclear Power, Three Gorges Energy, Guodian Power, Yongtai Energy, and Huaneng International.
