ETHK LABS INC. (01931.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting a profit of no more than RMB 42.2 million for the fiscal year 2025, compared to RMB 260 million recorded in the previous year. The decline in profit is mainly due to intensified competition in the in vitro diagnostics industry, resulting in a decrease in gross profit of RMB 185 million due to a decline in gross margin; administrative expenses increased by RMB 68 million, primarily due to increased professional fees related to the group's planned dual listing in the United States; and financing costs increased by approximately RMB 24.5 million
