# "Hong Kong Stocks" The Hang Seng Index opened 179 points lower, AIA dropped 2%, SHANDONG MOLONG surged 15%

The International Energy Agency (IEA) agreed to release 400 million barrels of oil, causing international oil prices to rise again, while US stock futures fell. The Hong Kong stock market opened lower in the morning. The Hang Seng Index opened down 179 points or 0.7%, at 25,719 points; the National Index opened down 35 points or 0.4%, at 8,668 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index opened down 30 points or 0.6%, at 5,024 points.

In the oil sector, PetroChina (00857.HK) and CNOOC (00883.HK) opened up 1.6% and 1.9%, respectively, while oil equipment stock Shandong Molong (00568.HK) opened up 14.9%. In the port sector, China Merchants Port (00144.HK) opened down 2%.

In the technology sector, Alibaba (09988.HK) opened down 2%, Tencent (00700.HK) and Baidu (09888.HK) opened down 0.3% and 0.7%, respectively, JD.com (09618.HK) opened up 0.3%, NetEase (09999.HK) opened flat at HKD 184.4, Kuaishou (01024.HK) and Meituan (03690.HK) opened down 1.4% and 1.2%, respectively, while Bilibili (09626.HK) opened down 2.6%. AI stocks Zhiyuan (02513.HK) and MiniMax (00100.HK) opened up 2.5% and 1.7%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong (01347.HK) opened down 1% and 0.5%, respectively.

In the automotive sector, BYD (01211.HK) opened flat at HKD 98.15, while Xiaomi (01810.HK) opened down 0.8%. It was reported that Li Xiang is considering repurchasing shares of Li Auto (02015.HK), which opened up 1.6%. Nio (09866.HK) Chairman Li Bin stated that the cost of high-end models has increased by nearly 10,000 RMB, and there are currently no plans to adjust prices, with Nio opening down 1.5%.

In the financial sector, HSBC (00005.HK) opened up 0.2% at HKD 129.7, while Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388.HK) opened down 0.9%, and AIA (01299.HK) opened down 2%. The Securities and Futures Commission and the Independent Commission Against Corruption searched the premises of Guotai Junan International (01788.HK) on Tuesday and detained one employee, with the stock opening down 4.2% at HKD 2.51
