# BYD executives stated that the capacity switch between the first and second generation blade batteries is still ongoing

According to BYD's disclosure, He Long, Executive Vice President of BYD Group and CEO of Fudi Battery, stated in a recent interview that since the release of the first generation blade battery, the battery team has not taken a break and is still working on expanding production, building lines, and debugging, with an extremely heavy workload. He revealed that the transition of the entire production capacity from the first generation blade battery to the second generation blade battery is still in progress, and they have been working on these tasks during the Spring Festival without rest. According to He Long, the second generation blade battery and flash charging technology will compress the charging time to single digits within 10 minutes
