# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index fell by 318 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index dropped by 60 points. CMOC fell over 5%. CNOOC, China Shenhua, CHINA RISUN GP, Qingsong Health, and YANKUANG ENERGY reached new highs

The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,579 points, down 318 points or 1.2%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 4,994 points, down 60 points or 1.2%. The National Index fell 63 points or 0.7%, closing at 8,641 points.

Active heavyweight stock performance:

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 130.2, down 2.3%;

Meituan (03690.HK) closed at HKD 76.1, down 1.7%;

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 546, down 1.1%;
