# The western section of the Shenzhen-Dongguan Railway tunnel has broken through 3,000 meters

On March 12th, the western section of the Shenzhen-Dongguan Tunnel of the Shenjiang Railway successfully broke through the 3,000-meter mark in excavation length under the construction of the "Kunpeng" shield machine, achieving a key milestone in project construction and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent tunnel completion and timely opening of the entire line.
