# Zhou Hongyi: Encouraging open source can promote healthy competition among domestic lobsters

On March 12, Zhou Hongyi, the founder of 360 Group, stated at the 360 Lobster Security Media Exchange that the encouraging environment for open source in China's internet industry helps promote healthy competition and development of domestic "lobster." He pointed out that China has long advocated for open source and openness, encouraging technology to be inclusive, which can lower the threshold for enterprises and individuals to use lobster-related products at a lower cost. Zhou Hongyi believes that this "everyone lifting the sedan chair" model is difficult to achieve in the United States, while in China, major companies can support each other and jointly promote the continuous improvement of "lobster" functions under the open source ecosystem. In addition, he also stated that compared to the United States, China has a richer and more complete application scenario, and the diversified practical needs will provide ample space for the development of lobster technology, enabling it to achieve healthier growth in the Chinese market.
