# Blue Owl clarifies to investors: its loan sale transactions do not include hidden incentives

Blue Owl Capital Inc. defended its recent sale of $1.4 billion in loans, insisting that the transaction did not include any backstop provisions or hidden incentives. This sale is part of the company's cash return plan to investors from the Blue Owl Capital Corp II (referred to as OBDC II) fund, with each buyer purchasing approximately the same share at the same asset price at the same time. This portfolio sale will allow OBDC II to return 30% of capital to investors by the end of March and is expected to achieve a 50% capital return by the end of this year. (Bloomberg)
