The meeting emphasized the need to deeply implement the agricultural and rural work deployed by the national Two Sessions, ensuring a strong focus on grain production, stabilizing the area planted with grain, and further promoting the large-scale increase in the yield per unit area of grain and oil crops, ensuring the completion of the annual grain production target of approximately 1.4 trillion jin. Greater efforts should be made to advance the seed industry revitalization action, concentrating advantageous resources to accelerate the cultivation of breakthrough varieties, striving to achieve self-reliance and self-control in seed technology and sources. The meeting also called for the cultivation and expansion of rural characteristic industries, guiding local areas to address shortcomings in product processing, cold chain logistics, and brand marketing, promoting the extension, supplementation, and strengthening of industrial chains, further improving the mechanism for linking farmers and agriculture, and better promoting farmers' employment and income growth
