# The performance of small and mid-cap stocks showed divergence this week, with the cyclical core broad-based CSI 500 ETF E Fund (510580) attracting attention for its allocation value

This week, the ChiNext Mid Cap 200 Index rose by 0.3%, the CSI 1000 Index fell by 0.4%, and both the CSI 500 Index and the CSI 2000 Index fell by 1.4%. The STAR 100 Index decreased by 2.1%.

Xinda Securities believes that the market may continue to fluctuate in the short term. After sufficient trading in defensive sectors and energy price increases, it is expected to return to a more sustainable main line supported by strong prosperity. In terms of allocation, sectors such as oil and petrochemicals, non-ferrous metals, and public utilities may have periodic opportunities.

The E Fund CSI 500 ETF (510580, feeder fund A/C: 007028/007029) tracks the CSI 500 Index, where "HALO" assets account for more than half. Benefiting from price transmission to the midstream and industry upgrades driven by dual carbon goals, the cyclical core broad-based attributes are highlighted.
